This is a reminder that the roll out of 4G mobile phone services continues across Harrogate District and could possibly cause disruption to TV reception.
Here is some information to help you help others
The likelihood of this happening is very low and will only affect Freeview TV – anyone who receives TV via cable or satellite is most unlikely to experience any problems.
To help resolve this issue, an organisation called at800 has been set up. Those households at risk of being affected have been sent a postcard by at800 to notify them.
Following receipt of this, should viewers experience any new disruption to their Freeview TV, they should get in touch with the at800 Contact Centre using the details given on the postcard.
The at800 Contact Centre will assess whether or not the disruption is likely to be 4G-related and, if it is, they can arrange for an at800-accredited installer to visit your home, free of charge. If the installer establishes that the disruption is not due to 4G, they can provide advice on how to retune your TV or how to fix other common causes of interference.
For more information, please visit www.at800.tv/reminder where you can also find details of the Contact Centre telephone numbers.
