Remap – aids and equipment for people with disabilities

Remap equipment

Remap is a charity which produces aids and equipment for people with disabilities where there are no suitable commercial alternatives. This service is provided free of charge to the client, and is delivered entirely by volunteers.

Volunteers are experienced engineers or craftsmen with access to a wide variety of skills and expertise. The Harrogate panel covers Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon and their surrounding areas.

Each piece of equipment is designed and tailor-made to suit the specific needs of one individual and is for their personal use only. Cases are usually referred by health professionals, such as occupational therapists and physiotherapists, but self-referrals are also accepted.
